Hope you are not getting tired of seeing my collection of inherited family treasures! This sweet pair of Mother of Pearl opera glasses belonged to my great-grandmother. I found them in an old cedar chest when closing up my great-aunt Lois's (g-gma's daughter) home after she passed away.
Did either of them attend the opera? I have no idea! I just know they were among the treasures and I love them.....hope you do too!! See you next Thursday!

Working in the gardens and decks today, planting flowers and shrubs and vines. It's supposed to rain later this afternoon and I thought the rain would help the new plants...work, work, work, dig, dig, dig.
